E-BOX
SYSTEM GOAL
The E-Box device was conceived, designed and created to simultaneously satisfy two needs, the first being the ability to integrate the functions relating to building-automation systems, i.e. the automated management of domestic technological systems and devices, even remotely on multimedia channels, which, when integrated with each other, allow the digital evolution of life inside the home.
This allows for the control of user loads (including heating, domestic hot water production and air conditioning in general) ensuring energy efficiency and savings on emissions, objectives shared by the Relaunch Decree for redevelopment interventions carried out with the Ecobonus and Superbonus measures.
The second requirement is to be able to implement the functions necessary to maximize collective self-consumption or Renewable Energy Community (CER).
In this context, through a specific cloud platform, it is possible to view in aggregate the users belonging to the same energy community as well as the self-consumption of the energy community and of each individual user pursuant to Directive 2018/2001 of 11 December 2018 (RED II).
E-BOX ADVANTAGES
Looking at the graph in figure 1, you can clearly understand the advantages that the E-box guarantees to the user.
In particular, it can be observed that shortly after 12:03:30 the generation (in green) exceeds the absorption of the loads (in red), therefore in this case thanks to the E-box it is possible to remotely activate the loads in such a way as to follow the trend of the generation to maximise self-consumption, therefore avoiding drawing from the grid when the generation is zero, so as to minimise the withdrawal from the grid.
